Ackley Wildlife Area offers hunters the chance to hunt in fields and in the woods. This wildlife area also features 400 acres of water. This is a great location for hunters looking to hunt ruffed grouse, deer, turkey, black bear and waterfowl.
Amsterdam Sloughs Wildlife Area offers a variety of habitats for wildlife within its boundaries. In addition to prairie land, there are is a jack pine and oak forest. There are plans to add parking lots, boat landings and hiking trails.
