Led by captain Niklas Edin, Sweden was the winner of the 2015 Men's World Curling Championships. The event was held in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, from March 28 through April 7.
Norway took home the Silver medal, while defending champion Canada earned the Bronze. A total of 12 teams participated in the event: Finland, USA, Japan, Switzerland and China rounded out the top finishers. Other participants included the Czech Republic, Italy, Scotland and Russia.
The host association automatically qualifies for the annual event, held since 1959, with the rest of the field qualifying through regional championships and challenges. Through 2015, Canada has won more medals than any country (50) followed by Scotland (35).
