Bradley Howard Friedel was born on May 18, 1971 in Lakewood, Ohio, in the United States. He first played for the U.S. National team in three FIFA world cup tournaments with a total of 82 games between 1992 and 2005. He has played for Blackburn Rovers, Liverpool, Aston Villa and the Tottenham Spurs. He beat Jimmy Cantrell's record as the oldest player to be in a competitive match. Aside from that, he also holds the record for having the most consecutive games appearances in the English Premier League with a total of 310 appearances. He was also named by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFH) as one of the Best Goalkeepers in the 21st Century.
