Bear hunting in Georgia's Central Zone is limited to firearms and only on Dec. 12, 2015. The Southern Zone seasons, with firearms, is Sept. 24 to 26, Oct. 1 to 3 and Oct. 8 to 10, all in 2015. Northern Zone bear seasons are bow-and-arrow from Sept. 12 to Oct. 9, 2015, primitive weapons from Oct. 10 to 16, 2015 and firearms from Oct. 17, 2015 to Jan. 10, 2016.
