According to Pro Wrestling Illustrated, the best wrestler of 2015 is Seth Rollings, who held the WWE World Heavyweight Championship for most of the year. According to What Culture, Brock Lesnar is the best wrester of 2015; he is a semi-regular WWE performer.
Eight members of the top 10 list compiled by Pro Wrestling Illustrated come from the WWE. The exceptions are Shinsuke Nakamura and Jay Briscoe. Nakamura, who holds the fifth ranking, fights in New Japan Pro Wrestling. Briscoe, the seventh-best wrestler in this list, fights in Ring of Honor, an American counterpart to WWE.
