Five teams, including the Super-Bowl-champion New England Patriots, finished the 2014 NFL regular season with 12 wins. Four teams won 11 games, and three teams had 10 wins.
The Seattle Seahawks, who lost to the Patriots in the Super Bowl, along with the Green Bay Packers, Dallas Cowboys and Denver Broncos, also won 12 games. Each of the 12-game winners won their divisions, with Seattle and New England getting home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.
Teams that won 11 games included the Arizona Cardinals, Detroit Lions, Indianapolis Colts and Pittsburgh Steelers. Ten-game winners were the Cincinnati Bengals, Baltimore Ravens and Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles were the only team to win at least 10 games and miss the playoffs.
