Who Is the NFL Kicker With Half of a Foot?

Tom Dempsey is a former NFL player with only half of a foot. He is also missing his right hand. He used the standard kicking style for the time period he played in, which was the straight-toe style.

Despite his disability, Dempsey had a successful kicker career for the New Orleans Saints, Los Angeles Rams, Buffalo Bills, Philadelphia Eagles and Houston Oilers. He started his career in 1969 and played until 1979. He took place in the 1969 Pro Bowl and his career statistics include 89.4 percent for points after touchdown and 61.6 percent for field goals. In 1989, he became a member of the New Orleans Saints Hall of Fame.
