Natalie Gulbis is a professional golfer who has competed since 2002 on the LPGA tour, the highest level of women's golf. As of September 2015, Gulbis has one win on the tour, the 2007 Evian Masters, and has seven top-10 finishes in LPGA major tournaments.
Natalie Gulbis was born and raised in the Sacramento, California area. She started to become interested in the game when she was 4 years old. When she was 7, she won her first tournament, and was breaking par records by the age of 10. She competed in her first LPGA tour in 1997 as an amateur golfer when she was 14, at a handicap of 2.
Gulbis was also the best player on the boys' golf team when she attended Granite Bay High School, and she graduated when she was 16. Later, she accepted a scholarship for golf at the University of Arizona. After just one season at Arizona, Natalie Gulbis left college to begin her professional career in 2001 at 18 years old.
She did not win any tournaments until her sixth season, where she finished sixth in the LPGA money list with over $1 million in earnings for 2005. She then placed in the top 10 at four consecutive championships from the 2005 LPGA Championship to the 2006 Kraft Nabisco Championship.
Gulbis has won over $4.8 million on the LPGA tour in her career, as of September 2015. She reached the peak of her career to date when she finished in the top 10 of four straight major tournaments spanning the 2005 and 2006 season. She was born in 1983 in Sacramento, California. In addition to golfing, she writes a column in FHM magazine and has appeared in her own reality show on The Golf Channel.
