There is no cost for a youth fishing license in Colorado. The youth license is valid for children under the age of 16, although there is a charge for having a second fishing rod. The second-rod stamp costs $5 regardless of resident status.
Continue ReadingStandard fishing licenses for those aged 16 and over are $26 for residents. Adult non-residents over the age of 16 must pay a $56 fee for a state fishing license. The first license purchase of the year also incurs a $10 habitat stamp. State fishing licenses can be purchased online, over the phone or by visiting a license agent or Colorado Parks and Wildlife office location.
