Cowboy Stadium, known officially as the AT&T Stadium since July 2013, has 80,000 seats in its standard configuration. Some additional seating can be temporarily erected in the lower levels of the stadium, although the exact number of additional seats depends on the demands of each individual event.
Standing-room tickets are also sold for many events at Cowboy Stadium. These tickets grant access to numerous open viewing areas situated around the stadium. Counting both seated and standing spectators, maximum stadium capacity rises to more than 105,000 people. Cowboy Stadium broke the regular-season attendance record for an NFL game in September 2009 with 105,121 ticketed guests.
