Online reservations for the Lake Skinner campground are available through the Reservations page on RivCoParks.org, as of 2015. Alternatively, call the number listed on the website to make a reservation by phone.
To access the online reservation system, visit the RivCoParks.org home page and place the cursor over Reservations. On the drop-down menu that appears, click Camping Reservations. On the Camping Reservations page, click Make Reservation under Lake Skinner. The reservation tool for that campground opens in a new window.
Choose arrival and departure dates to view available sites for that date range. The tool has three maps for Lake Skinner, labeled A, B and C, with Map A displayed by default. Each map displays all the campsites in that section of the campground, and the color of a campsite indicates its features. Click on any campsite to view more information about it and to reserve it. After adding one or more campsite reservations, proceed through the checkout process to complete the purchase.
Fees vary depending on the type of campsite and the dates. Camps that have water or electricity are more expensive than sites without utilities. Campers can get a lower rate through weekly or monthly site reservations. Each site has a limit of two vehicles and six people.
