The College World Series began in 1947 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. After two years in Kalamazoo, the 1949 event moved to Wichita, Kansas. The event found a long-term home in Omaha's Rosenblatt Stadium, which hosted the College World Series from 1950 to 2010. In 2011, the College World Series moved to the new TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha.
In 2009, NCAA officials signed a new agreement with College World Series of Omaha, Inc., to keep the event in Omaha from 2035.Learn more about Baseball
