To find your local high school playoff scores, go to MaxPreps.com. Enter your city and state and select a sport, or enter the name of your local high school.
MaxPreps displays information for boys', girls' and co-ed teams. Click on a team to open a team wall. A team wall includes links to playoff scores, team history, game history and year-by-year results.
Many state school leagues now host websites where you can access playoff scores. The Minnesota State High School League and the University Interscholastic League are two such examples. AT MSHSL.org, you can access state or section playoff scores under Brackets or by selecting the school name, location and activity from a series of drop-down menus.
At UILTexas.org, click High School Sports under Athletics, select a sport and click Playoff Brackets. UILTexas.org only includes playoff scores for teams that actually make it to the playoffs and arranges them by divisions and conferences. Consequently, you must know the division and conference in order to pull up the correct results from a compilation. Clicking on a team's name opens its individual scores, rankings and history on its MaxPreps.com team wall, providing that the team maintains one.
Your local newspaper is another potential source of high school playoff scores. The Clarion-Ledger, which reports on Mississippi and metro-Jackson news, often publishes high school playoff scores and team rankings via MaxPreps.com.
