In a 2009 interview with Orlando Sentinel, Basketball player Jameer Nelson claimed to have 14 tattoos. One says "No Fear" with a knife through it and another is a scroll full of words about fearlessness. Two are dedicated to family members: one for his father and one for his grandmother.
Nelson has other tattoos that read "King of My Kingdom," "Fear No Man," "Loyalty" and one written in Chinese characters that means "accomplish everything without fear." On his back, written in block letters, are the words "All Eyes On Me." One across his heart says "Bad Ass Chester Boy," a reference to his hometown in Pennsylvania. Nelson got his first tattoo when he was 18.
