Irene van Dyk is a netball player who has the most caps of any other player in history. She is originally from Johannesburg but has played for both South Africa and New Zealand. She has had more than 200 net appearances representing both those countries.
Irene van Dyk was named Sportswoman of the Year in New Zealand at the 2004 Halberg awards. She was also awarded the New Zealand Order of Merit in the 2009 Queen?s Birthday Honours List.

Commonwealth Games Gold Medallist in 2006 and 2010 and a World Netball Series Gold Medallist in 2009. She often manages to shoot with 100 percent accuracy.
