The Spanish La Liga table primarily displays the current team rankings by order of points. Other information available on most versions of the league table includes the exact number of wins, draws and losses, as well as goals scored and goals scored against for each team.
The ESPN version of the table has different sections for home, away and overall statistics. The Sky Sports version only displays the overall statistics, but it also has information about how each team has performed over its last three games, with green boxes representing wins, red boxes representing losses and gray boxes representing draws. Both tables show which teams are currently in line for a Champion's League spot and which teams are currently in line for a Europa League spot. However, the Sky Sports version does not differentiate between the Champion's League group stage teams and the play-in teams.
In La Liga, a win is equal to three points, a draw is equal to one point and a loss results in no points. The first tiebreaker between teams with the same number of points is the goal difference, or goals scored minus goals scored against. If there is a tie between more than two teams, then the first tiebreaker is head-to-head points, the second is head-to-head goal difference and the third is head-to-head goals scored.
