When Ladies' Golf Today tested several ladies' golf balls in 2011, the Callaway Solaire and Srixon Soft Feel Lady both received unanimous praise for feel and performance. Wilson Staff DX2 Soft Women's, Precept Lady iQ Plus and Pinnacle Ribbon were also popular.
Because female golfers typically hit balls more slowly and with less pressure than men, there are solid reasons for women's golf to use different balls than male golfers. Ladies' Golf Today also tested balls from Titleist, which does not market any specifically to women. The Titleist DT Solo especially received praise for its combination of performance, feel and overall value.
