Fun volleyball drills for beginners include "hitting through a team block" and "two pile." Because they are fun exercises, players learn the basics without getting frustrated.
In a "two pile" drill, one player lies on top of the other. When the ball is slapped and tossed high into the volleyball court by the coach, the player who is at the bottom makes a pass at the ball after the one who is on top sets their partner.
"Hitting through a team block" drill requires five to six blockers on one side of the net and a hitter and a setter on the other side. After the setter has set the hitter, the hitter must hit the ball around or through the blockers.
