The Sea View Pier, located at North Topsail Beach, offers fresh bait and fishing supplies as well as a restaurant that cooks fish caught and cleaned by customers in addition to its normal menu. The Sunset Beach Pier on Sunset Beach offers live bait, tackle, a store, and a bar and grill. The Sunset Beach website offers a live pier web camera showing current wave and weather conditions. Oak Island Fishing Pier and Restaurant operates from Yaupon Pier on Oak Island. The Pier House shop sells snacks and live bait, and also rents out fishing equipment.
The Bogue Inlet Fishing Pier, located on the Emerald Isle, has a shop and restrooms. The pier's website features a live pier web camera and weather forecast for the area. The Oceanana Resort features the only pier in Atlantic Beach. Guests staying at the Oceanana Family Motel receive complimentary fishing passes at certain times outside of the summer season.The resort rents out fishing rods and reels. With the exception of the Oceanana Resort, all of the fishing piers' websites offer fishing reports.
