Fabrique Nationale d'Armes de Guerre was a manufacturer of firearms based in Belgium. The company is still in operation but has changed its name to Fabrique Nationale d'Herstal.
The company was founded in 1889 to manufacture rifles for the government of Belgium. Over time, the company began to produce arms for the commercial market, most notably partnering with designer John Moses Browning in 1897. Some firearms for which it has been known are Barracuda revolvers, five-seven pistols, M1900 semiautomatic pistols, CAL assault rifles and P90 submachine guns. The company also manufactured cars from 1900 to 1935, motorcycles until 1965 and trucks until 1970.
