Following standout baseball and football careers at the University of Minnesota, Decker was selected in the third round of the 2010 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos. Although he was used sparingly in his rookie season, Decker became one of the primary targets of quarterbacks Tim Tebow and Peyton Manning and caught 216 passes over the next three seasons, -32 for touchdowns. On March 12, 2014, Decker signed a five-year, $36.25-million contract with the New York Jets.
