NASCAR race car driver Kurt Busch divorced his wife Eva Bryan in June 2011 after months of separation. However, Busch has never publicly revealed the cause of their separation. The two were married in 2006, three years after meeting at a blind date.
Busch announced the impending divorce just weeks before it became final and just days after publicly kissing another woman at a victory celebration. He had also not worn his wedding ring for some time. Busch has a reputation for having anger management issues, a problem he acknowledged and sought help for from a sports psychologist. In November 2014, Busch faced domestic assault charges involving an ex-girlfriend, which led to his indefinite suspension by NASCAR in February 2015. After completing a NASCAR-prescribed reinstatement program, Busch returned to racing in March 2015.
