He was supposed to be lowered from the ceiling to the ring on a cable, but he fell during the process and hit has head on a turnbuckle after a fall of 70 feet.

He died on April 8, 2014, from a myocardial infarction caused by atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease.

Andre the Giant, whose real name is André René Roussimoff, was born on May 19, 1946. He had acromegaly, which caused his massive size. Andre was a popular wrestler, and he acted in "The Princess Bride." He died on Jan. 27, 1993, due to a heart attack.
