As of 2015, the cost of a USBC Sport membership is $15 for adults, and Sport membership is included in the $30 Junior Gold Membership for youth participants. The $30 Junior Gold Membership price is the same whether it is a new membership or a renewal. USBC Life members are also required to pay the additional $15 Sport Bowling dues. It should be noted that unless the tournament rules state otherwise, participants in a Sport Bowling tournament are not required to be Sport Bowling members.

League Membership Application forms can be obtained in a few different places, including a local Bowling Information Center, USBC headquarters or a local USBC association manager. An online USBC membership application is also available USBC's website.

Membership rewards can include discounts on insurance, satellite TV, flights and more. Other resources include the USBC Bowling Academy, USBC Bowler's Source, USBC Magazine Archives and BowlTV, which allows users to watch YouTube videos with bowling highlights and tournament coverage.
