The British Columbia Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure maintains two webcams, pointing north and south, at the Coquihalla summit. The live images are freely available at the website DriveBC.ca. There are other cameras along the highway, and live feeds of other British Columbia highways are also available on the site.
The Coquihalla Highway is part of the larger Highway 5 which connects the B.C. cities of Hope, Merrit and Kamloops. The highway, also known as the South Yellowhead Highway, connects to Highway 16, or North Yellowhead Highway. It is the fastest route between Hope, British Columbia and Edmonton, Alberta. The Coquihalla Pass was the only B.C. highway to have a toll, which was removed in 2008.
