ESPN, Yahoo! and CBS Sports all post weekly expert picks throughout the NFL season; the weekly and cumulative season records of each analyst appear for fans to view. Picks are posted in a grid at each website prior to the start of each week's contests. Additionally, each site enables users to make their own weekly game projections to gauge their picks against those of their favorite commentators.
CBS Sports experts making game projections during the 2014 NFL season included Pete Brisco, Will Brinson, Jared Dubin, Jamey Eisenberg, Jason La Canfora and several others. CBS analysts make picks of both outright winners and forecasts of games against the spread. With a record of 178-77-1, Eisenberg was the top projector during the 2014 regular season in selecting "straight-up" winners, while also tying La Canfora for the most accurate picks against the point spread.
ESPN expert prognosticators for 2015 include former players Eric Allen, Cris Carter, Bob Golic, Merill Hoge and Ron Jaworski and Hall of fame coach Mike Ditka.
Columnists Frank Schwab and Eric Adelson headed the list of Yahoo! Sports NFL experts for 2014. A consensus pick reflecting the overall opinion of Yahoo! users appears alongside columnists' picks in a third column.
