A clean golf club grip ensures the proper feel in a golfer's hands and keeps a club looking good. Multiple cleaning techniques exist, but some are simpler and less time-consuming, according to About.com.
Grab the golf club, two cloths and a bottle of spray-on liquid cleaner. Wet one of the cloths, and ring it out.
Clean the grip
Spray the liquid cleaner lightly on the club grip. Take the wet cloth, and wipe the cleaner off the grip until the dirt is removed.
Dry and repeat
Take the dry cloth, and wipe over the area cleaned to remove the moisture. If more cleaning is required, complete the steps again in the same order.
