To check high school girls' volleyball rankings as of 2016, visit MaxPreps.com. Place the cursor over Volleyball, and on the drop-down menu that appears, click on Rankings. To review the rankings for women's volleyball at the college level, check NCAA.com.
MaxPreps has two 25 team volleyball rankings, the MaxPreps Xcellent 25 and the MaxPreps Computer Rankings. A MaxPreps writer ranks teams for the MaxPreps Xcellent 25, while the organization's computer program ranks teams for the MaxPreps Computer Rankings. Criteria for both rankings include team records and strength of schedule among other factors.
To view women's volleyball rankings on NCAA.com, visit the site's homepage, and place the cursor over Sports. On the drop-down menu that appears, click D1 Women's Volleyball. On the sport's page, click on Rankings. To view rankings from Division 2 or Division 3 women's volleyball, select that division using the drop-down menu on the rankings page.
Division 1 rankings use a points system that's based on a poll taken of the American Volleyball Coaches Association. To view the rankings according to ratings percentage index, choose NCAA Women's Volleyball RPI from the drop-down menu above the rankings.
As of 2016, the Division 2 and Division 3 rankings pages show the regional rankings by default. Both pages also have rankings based on the AVCA poll available in the drop-down menu above the rankings.
