As of 2011, CBS, in conjunction with Turner Sports, has a 14-year contract with the NCAA to the rights to broadcast March Madness games. As such, they are the primary source for March Madness games.
The tournament was shown solely on CBS from 1982 until the new contract took effect in 2011 when Turner joined it. In 2015, CBS broadcast 22 games including the national championship game. It also offered a live streaming service for pay-TV subscribers to watch online or on a phone or tablet. The network also offers studio analysis before, during and after the games throughout the tournament and also provides online content.
