Information about the Rage Broadheads recall can be found by checking the company website, ragebraodheads.com, by checking the government’s website, Recalls, gov, or by searching enthusiasts’ sites, forums, and social media sites. Both NewJerseyHunter.com and archerytalk.com contain posts related to a 2007 Rage Broadheads recall.
Recalls.gov is a website that six federal agencies have set up to provide information on all U.S. Government recalls. It lists recall information for consumer products, motor vehicles, boats, food, medicine, cosmetics and environmental products. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recall guidelines require companies to post recall information on their websites and warns them that the CPSC will post such information on social media sites. As of June 30, 2015, Ragebroadheads.com does not have any recall information. It should be noted the 2007 Rage Broadheads recall was not a safety recall, but was a quality concern that Rage voluntarily initiated.
