Full Answer

The certificate of completion for Youth Protection training is attached to a BSA volunteer application. Approved volunteer applicants receive a member ID, which the applicant enters into her account at MyScouting.org to link the membership and training records. Current volunteers provide the certificate of completion to a unit leader for processing by the local council. BSA requires the course be repeated every two years to continue as a volunteer.
