On July 14, 1996, Brett Favre married Deanna Tynes, with whom he has two daughters, Breleigh and Brittany. As of 2015, Brittany has two sons, Parker Brett and A.J. Favre's mother Bonita helps him with his agricultural and real estate financial matters. In 2004, Favre and his mother released a book discussing their family life. Favre's dad Irvin died of a heart attack on Dec. 21, 2003. The next day, Favre played in a Monday Night Football Game.
Favre's wife Deanna was born on Dec. 28, 1968 in Mississippi. In 2004, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She later founded the Deanna Favre Hope Foundation to bring awareness to women about the disease, and to help women nationwide get proper care and education. She has also helped to run the Brett Favre Fourward Foundation, which helps disabled children.
The Favre family has a home in the town of Hattieburg, Mississippi, where they attend the St. Thomas Aquinas Parish. During Hurricane Katrina, they housed 50 family members.
Brett Lorenzo Favre was born on Oct. 10, 1969 in Gulfport, Mississippi. He has three siblings, Brandi, Scott and Jeff. Favre started playing football in school, where his dad was the head coach. He was first drafted by the Atlanta Falcons, and later went to play for the Green Bay Packers.
