The Wildcats start off the 2014-15 season with a non-conference slate consisting of 13 games. The non-conference stretch includes 10 home games, one away game and two neutral-site contests, with matchups against Grand Canyon, Buffalo, Kansas, Boston, Montana State, University of Texas-Arlington, Providence, Texas, Eastern Kentucky, Columbia, North Carolina, University of California- Los Angeles and Louisville. After the non-conference portion of the schedule, the Wildcats begin Southeastern Conference play with an 18 game conference schedule that includes nine home and nine away matchups.

Conference games include Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Missouri twice, Alabama twice, Vanderbilt, South Carolina twice, Georgia twice, Florida twice, LSU, Tennessee, Auburn, Mississippi State and Arkansas. Once the regular season schedule concludes and a regular season champion is crowned, all Southeastern conference teams are then seeded and play in a single-elimination conference tournament. The winning team gets an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. With a successful season, the Wildcats have the opportunity to play in either the National Invitational Tournament, or the NCAA Tournament for a chance to win the national championship.
