To assemble a bike, install the seat into the seat tube, thread and secure the pedals, install the tires into the tire forks, thread the chain, and attach the brake line. You need an Allen wrench that matches the holes of your bike and a crescent or socket wrench that matches the bolts.
- Install the seat
Open the clamp that holds the seat tube closed. Slide the seat post into the seat tube, and close the lever securely.
- Install the pedals
Thread the pedals into the pedal arms. Thread the left pedal counter-clockwise and the right pedal clockwise, and secure them with the crescent wrench.
- Install the tires
Turn the bike upside down, resting it on the handlebars. Hook the tires into the tire forks. For the front tire, place washers and nuts on the screws, and tighten the nuts with the crescent wrench. Make sure the tire spins freely. For the back tire, thread the chain onto the gear. Push the pedals to make sure the chain is properly attached. Put on the washers and nuts, and tighten the nuts with the crescent wrench. Push the pedals again to make sure the tire spins freely.
- Tighten and adjust the bike
Turn the bike over, and attach the brake line. Adjust the seat and handlebars to a comfortable height. Inspect the entire bike, using your Allen and crescent wrench to tighten loose parts.
