The amenities available at the Glencoe CampResort in Sturgis, South Dakota, include three dining facilities with over 1,000 picnic tables, free concerts and other events in the Pavilion, free morning coffee, 160 resort-style showers, 150 restroom facilities, and 24-hour security gates. Additional amenities include an RV dumping station, motorcycle loading ramps, free wireless Internet in the Pavilion and coin-operated laundry facilities.
The campground also offers UPS or FedEx shipping services and beer and ice for sale. Glencoe features three options for accommodations: general camping, RV parking sites and cabins. The RV sites come with 30-amp and 50-amp hook-ups, as well as water, sewer and power connections. With space for two to eight guests, the cabins feature air conditioning and heating, full kitchens, modern appliances, and bathrooms with complimentary toiletries. Additionally, the campground allows pets in the general camping and RV site areas.
The Glencoe CampResort is the home of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally and sits on 600 acres of land just east of Sturgis. The campground accepts individual campers during the two weeks of the rally only, and all guests during that period must purchase and wear wristbands that give them access to all the amenities and areas of the campground.
