The Mac Irvin Fire and MeanStreets basketball teams are highly ranked Amateur Athletic Union teams located in the Chicago, Illinois, area. The Southwest Illinois Jets are an AAU basketball team located in St. Claire County, Illinois.

The Mac Irvin Fire competes within Illinois as well as throughout the United States. Despite being located in Chicago, Illinois, the Mac Irvin Fire roster talent from around the entire Chicagoland area, which includes multiple counties in Illinois and Indiana. Mac Irvin Fire alumni include NBA players such as Jabari Parker and Jahlil Okafor, as well as many players playing professionally overseas.

The MeanStreets team competes both in Illinois and nationally, with two national championships under its belt since its founding in 2001. MeanStreets alumni include NBA players such as Derrick Rose, Anthony Davis and Eric Gordon.
