Some manufacturers that take back items include Apple, Dell, LG, Canon, HP, Sony and Samsung. Suppliers like Staples and Best Buy also recycle electronic items.
Most local dumps and recycling centers have a special section for electronics. They accept deliveries, sometimes for a fee. There are also charities that either accept drop-offs of electronics or pick them up for free.
