Until around 1300, when Lincoln Cathedral was built in England, the Great Pyramid of Khufu was the tallest man-made structure in the world. It is the main pyramid in the Giza Pyramid Complex, which also includes the two major pyramids, Khafre and Menkaure, as well as the Queens' Pyramids – three small pyramids and the ruins of a fourth.
