What Are Some Slogans Against Water Pollution?

"Be the solution to water pollution," "Cause a commotion to save our ocean," "Keep the trash in politics — not in our oceans," "Think blue and go green" and "Stop pollution quick, don't make the water sick" are a few examples of slogans against water pollution. Slogans like these are used on websites, in social media and on signs at rallies, among other places.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has stated that only 28 percent of streams have healthy biological communities. Likewise, the escalated use of chemicals along the Mississippi River has caused an increase of the amount of nitrogen, phosphorus and nutrient fertilizers later found in the Gulf of Mexico.

The World Health Organization reports that more than 90 percent of the surface water in the United States is polluted and a full 98 percent of the sewage in China goes into the country's rivers without being treated. The organization also reports that 80 percent of all travel diseases are caused by travelers drinking contaminated water.

Organizations like "The Water Project" and others are devoted to ensuring that more people have access to clean water. They do this by raising funds to build wells and educating others about safe water initiatives.
