The National Geographic Society website has a section that provides basic facts and information about the solar system. The website includes both an overview of the solar system as well as an interactive map where visitors can click on individual parts of the system to explore them in more depth.
The interactive map is split into the inner and outer solar systems. Both of these sections show not only the main planets, but also asteroids and space junk such as orbiting artificial satellites. Individual entries may contain not only additional information, but also additional interactive displays about topics such as solar statistics.
