  1. Clean the granite

Prior to polishing the granite, it has to be properly cleaned to make sure there are no accumulated dirt or filth on its surface. Take any natural liquid soap, and mix it with water. Pour the solution into a spray bottle, and shake. Then, spray the solution on the granite and wipe it with a soft sponge until it is completely clean. Once satisfied with the cleaning process, wipe the granite dry with a paper towel or a piece of soft and clean cloth.

  2. Make the granite polish

Take a small bowl and pour 3 cups of warm water in it. Add one-fourth cup of baking soda to the water, and stir the mixture until it is evenly mixed and is ready for use.

  3. Polish the granite

Take a paper towel, and use it to evenly spread the granite polish all over the granite. Next, take a clean piece of cloth and start polishing in circular motions. Once finished, spray clean water on the granite and use a paper towel to remove any traces of the polishing agent.
