Topaz is found in over 21 colors, including varying hues of yellow, orange, blue and pink. The clarity of topaz heavily influences its value; over 10 clarity values exist to determine its worth. As of September 2014, the gem is most valuable in 30 carats of light reddish purple, worth approximately $1,393.06. The least valuable incarnation of topaz is 1 carat of colorless topaz, worth $7.77.
