CBC News features a world map showing earthquake zones internationally. The U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency publishes a map of all U.S. territories in earthquake zones.
As of July 2015, the international map on CBC.ca was last updated in April 2014. The map is a compilation of data from the last 40 years of earthquakes measuring a 6.0 or higher on the Richter scale. The data was collected by the NOAA National Geophysical Data Center in the United States.
FEMA's map covers U.S. territories only. The site explains how to read the maps, including how varying colors correspond to seismic categories. This website was last updated in March 2015 .
