To make a model brain out of clay, individually mold the brain stem, cerebellum, occipital lobe, temporal lobe, parietal lobe and frontal lobe while referencing a scientific picture and connect them to create an anatomically-accurate model brain. Creating all of these parts individually and then bringing them together in the end will make sure that each part is anatomically correct and the important parts of the brain are easily decipherable. If possible, use different colors for each part of the brain.
It is important that each portion of the brain is anatomically correct before putting the whole brain together. For this reason, each part should be molded on its own instead of molding the whole brain at once.

- Put it all together
The brain stem will require a long and skinny portion that protrudes away from the brain, which in an actual brain connects to the spinal column. The cerebellum will be triangularly shaped and attached to the large end of the brain stem.
The largest lobe will be the frontal lobe, followed by the temporal lobe. The parietal and occipital lobes will be smaller and more triangular, both sitting atop the temporal lobe behind the frontal lobe.
Attach the temporal lobe to the brain stem and put the occipital and parietal lobes on top. Fill in the entire front with the large frontal lobe.
