Scientists predict that Halley's Comet, also known as Comet Halley, will make an appearance again in late 2061, early 2062. It was last seen in the sky in 1986.
The comet, named after the English astronomer Edmond Halley, is one of the most famous comets in the world. Since it passes by Earth every 76 years, it is possible for a person to see it twice in his or her lifetime.
In order to view the comet, a good pair of binoculars is needed. Scientists also recommend getting as far away from light pollution (city lights) to see the comet along the horizon.
