The female groin is the junction at which folds of the abdomen are joined with the thighs on the sides of the human body. The pubic area of females is located between the two groins.
According to Caring Medical and Rehabilitation Services, groin pain is generally caused by excessive exercise and sports. Groin pain worsens in women if they are not administered medication in a timely manner.
One of the leading causes of groin pain in women is physical assault. Minor injuries caused to the groin get healed over a duration of time. Severe groin pain can make ordinary activities, such as sleeping, walking and sitting, feel like a challenging task.
