What Color Combination Makes Hot Pink?
Last Updated Apr 3, 2020 1:55:31 AM ET

Hot pink can be made from two parts red, one part blue and one part violet, with white added to achieve the desired brightness. Hot pink is a combination of primary colors and secondary colors, which are colors mixed from the primary colors of red, blue and yellow.
Artists typically mix paint colors in slightly different ways to achieve various shades of pink. The current use of HEX codes, sRGB coordinates, CYMK coordinates and HSV coordinates by color programs now have recognized standard color assignations to every possible mixture of color. Color wheels, tables and squares have coordinates representing the amounts of red, blue and yellow in any color coordinate system.
