One of the ways in which cars pollute the environment is by making noise. When cars are started, their engine tends to make noise. This noise may be made louder if the car is not well maintained. The noise may increase as the car starts moving. Racing cars are especially known to make loud noises because they move at high speeds.
Cars cause pollution during manufacture because the processes they go through tend to have negative environmental effects. This is equally true when car parts are recycled. If car parts are not disposed of correctly, they end up causing adverse effects to the environment. Some parts are made of materials such as plastic which does not easily decompose.
The basic source of energy for cars is fuel. When fuel goes through combustion in the engine, fumes made up of greenhouse gases such as carbon monoxide and sulfur dioxide are emitted. These gases cause an imbalance in the air content. As a result, the atmosphere becomes contaminated. The gases also rise up to cause damage to the ozone layer.Learn more about Pollution
