Websites such as Timeanddate.com provide sunrise and sunset times for locations all around the world. Printed and online almanacs also traditionally provide sunrise and sunset times as well as times for civil, nautical and astronomical twilight; moonrise and moonset times; and information about the sun's altitude over the horizon.
Sunset times are largely dependent on the latitude of a given location. The further away from the equator a place is, the later the sun sets during summer and the earlier it sets during winter. Sunset grows increasingly later as the summer solstice approaches, then begins a few minutes earlier each day until the winter solstice arrives.
