Stink bugs are capable of flying. The most skilled fliers of these insects are the more mature stink bugs. Mature stink bugs grow to be no more than 2 centimeters long.
Stink bugs have their wings atop their backs when not in flight, and their legs can be seen jutting out from under their bodies. The shape of these insects is similar to an oval. While mature stink bugs primarily display dull colors of green or brown, some are known to be much more colorful. Young stink bugs differ in color by being either black or yellow. A stink bug can emit a pungent smell from an area near its stomach.
